New Book...

The long awaited book about my art journey is complete and will be soon available. Writing this book provided me the pleasure of digging into the Abstract Expressionist movement of the 1940s - 1950s. I used what I learned from the members of the AbEx movement to develop my own voice and style. The individual members inspired me to work through the struggle of creating a vision of art and the philosophy that goes along with it. The book is informational as well as chronicling my journey. I purposely tone down the art speak in the hope that anyone can pick this book up and relate to one of the most fascinating art movements of modern times. Art movements before and after AbEx are also discussed to provide context. In the book, I also espouse my hypothesis of why art movements prosper and then die.
